Perfect timing for this study in AJG - The American Journal of Gastroenterology to come out ! ✅ 45-49 yr olds - underwent screening colonoscopy, ADR = 28.2% ✅ Similar to what is rec for 50-54 yr old ✅ Re-inforces ACG & other organizations recommendations to start CRC screening at 45 yrs

Fellow teaching: Here's a nice technique I picked up a few years ago from Klaus Mönkemüller, MD, PhD for tattooing the GI tract. Create a saline bleb, then switch to tattoo. Ensures tattoo stays in the submucosa & doesn't go to peritoneum. Especially useful in a moving target as shown below
