What a fabulous send off to the HST at Plymouth...3 of the 4 sets in service all lined up ready to head to Laira depot for one last time. Plymouth welcomed its first HST on 10 April 1977. Tonight it will wave goodbye to its last when the 4th set finishes just before midnight.

Great day so far on the SWR Help BLS Fixtures Class 455 farewell train B. Got to Waterloo to see Train A leaving and then waited to board Train B, which operates approx 60 minutes later. Brought plenty of bits from 423417_GordonPettitt as well at their sales stand.

Whilst out today we met Geoff Marshall ..who happened to have an NSE scarf in his bag 😉 Now although he didn't want to be photographed we found some that did! Good to meet you Geoff, Look forward to the video. 🔴🔵⚪ SWR Help #Class455Farewell

Nicely timed as 2 Waterloo-Guildford via Epsom services cross over at Motspur Park today 23/12/2025 at 16:18. Notice how much cleaner the incoming unit is that was used for the tour on Sunday!

A pair of choppers made a nice pre-Christmas treat today, with 20142 “Sir John Betjeman” in London Transport livery, joined by BR blue 20189, through a very chilly Paddock Wood working 0Z20 1020 Kidderminster S.V.R. to Ashford Crane Depot… 😄
