👏 Thank you to all the 43 classes from across the Scottish Borders who joined us for our Creative Scots lessons today. Some fantastic critters and weather reports created. We hope you had fun 🤩

P6 joined in with the ‘create Scots live lesson’ with Inspire Learning We joined 26 other classes across the Borders to create a weather forecast using Scottish vocabulary, adding weather symbols and text to a map in book creator.

Some amazing news to finish off my year at Galashiels Academy. We have been awarded Silver LGBT Youth Award and were runners up in the 2025 National Youth Work Awards. This is down to the fantastic staff, partners and especially the young people that Galashiels Academy has.
