What we can learn from our kids... My 15-year old son recently taught me ways to deal w/disappointment. He advocated for himself, made the most out of a frustrating situation & set new stretch goals.  He didn't wallow in it, let it fester & he definitely didn't call it quits.

Over 800 pages of exceptional examples of leading with empathy, strengths based leadership, building diverse teams, humility and servant leadership. I’m not usually drawn to historical biographies but couldn’t put this one down. Another one of my all time fave leadership books.

‘What’s the most important thing we should be talking about today?’ I have used this focusing question from Fierce Conversations no less than a 1,000 times - the conversation IS the relationship. Another one of my favorite leadership books.

I’m a sucker for inspirational quotes and this book is full of them. ✨People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care✨ So much wisdom packed into a single sentence can be a powerful teaching and learning tool.
