The positive legacy of this pandemic will be the vaccine industrialization plan for regions that were left behind in the Hunger Games grab for C19 vaccines. Keep up the awesome work World Health Organization (WHO)!
Thank you Kholood Khair for saying this "I have to stress the evacuation here is not the story, the increasingly terrible humanitarian situation is," bbc.co.uk/news/live/worl…
May the souls of our departed UNRWA colleagues rest in peace, and may we draw strength from their example as we continue our vital work in the pursuit of a better world. Below is my full speech, as we gathered at World Health Organization (WHO) to honour our colleagues, who lost their lives, with a

I remember campaigning for fairer Pneumonia Vax prices & being told by a pharma exec that I should "trust" that development cost much more than we thought. No data was ever shared. I applaud MSF International MSF Access for continuing to challenge this narrative theguardian.com/global-develop…
This report from Algemene Rekenkamer on vaccine procurement contracts is a much needed exercise in transparency & accountability. The recommendation to support int'l initiatives to facilitate access to vaccines, not limited to crises, is particularly important: english.rekenkamer.nl/publications/r…
Several years ago Natalie Bennett agreed to a quick meet at kings x. I thought it would be hurried but she really listened & asked incredibly informed qs about vaccines. Was inspiring to see that combination of breadth of understanding & empathy again tonight Five Leaves Bookshop
Please don’t undermine my credentials Keir Starmer I came from a family with a violent father and spent part of my childhood on benefits. I’m now a visiting professor and teach at LSE. Public services really helped me, and I had to work so hard to get to this point in my life.
Ellen 't Hoen - @ellenthoen.bsky.social MSF International MSF Access Campaign What a disastrous decision. MSF Access Campaign has been a cornerstone for the whole Global Access Movement not just for MSF International . We will all suffer the lack of the Access campaign. Above all it is critical for enabling access for poor people. Please MSF International revise your decision.
MSF International Activism does not come from a bottle. It is fostered in trust independence and partnerships with civil society and those who live with the disease. The closure of #AccessCampaign is a wound in the heart of global south movements dnpplus Make Meds Affordable Health Justice Initiative - HJI
I've got mixed feelings about tomorrow's election but I am happy to see Laurence Turner running. I went to school and university with Laurence. I was always impressed by his integrity. He is kind and intelligent. It would be wonderful to have someone like him in parliament.
Unreservedly happy about this one. Well done Laurence Turner
