Re-upping this. The indirect cost rate cut is step 1 to defund American science. This is not the time for nuance. Steps 2-4 include shelving NIH (via state block grants), defunding unis (tax endowments, remove non profit status). If efficiency was the goal, DoD would be first 🎯
