These are the world's top 50 best-selling station wagons in 2023. As you can see, it was a good year for a big part of them. The #SubaruOutback continued to lead thanks to its popularity in USA, where it is positioned as an SUV. The #SkodaOctaviaCombi led in Europe.

Lexus reached a record high of 824,300 units sold globally in 2023. The brand posted a solid growth compared to 2022, up by 32%. North America was its largest market making up 43% of the global total. All models recorded growth except for the old Lexus RC, and the Lexus LS.

It started with the Chinese maker Changan introducing the Hunter in 2019. Then in 2020, Peugeot announced the Landtrek, the first rebadge of the Hunter. This year, Fiat introduced the Titano, for Brazil and Algeria. Finally, it was the turn of Ram with the Ram 1200 for Mexico.

Cadillac sold around 350,000 new cars in 2023. Interestingly, its most popular model is not an SUV but a sedan, the CT5. This executive sedan was the only driver of growth along with the Lyriq, which sold only 13,000 units, and the Escalade, still popular in North America.

The #LincolnNavigator's main purpose in life is to rival the Cadillac Escalade. Last year, Lincoln sold 11,500 units of the regular Navigator, and 9,200 units of the Navigator L. It was then quite behind the Escalade/Escalade ESV at 50,900 units combined.

After 14 years in the market, Nissan is bringing an all-new generation of the Patrol, aka Armada. Last year, Nissan sold 63,700 units of this giant SUV last year. This is 42% more than in 2022. The Middle East counted for 49% of the total, followed by USA-Canada with 35%.
