Chevrolet has sold around 390,000 units of the Spin since its introduction in 2012. The Spin is only available in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Peru, and used to be available in Southeast Asian markets like Indonesia and Thailand before GM stopped its operations.

Here it is, the global ranking by brands for the year 2023.
- BYD hits top 10 sending Mercedes out of it. Growth driven by PHEV, BEV competitive models.
- Tesla climbed some positions, outselling big brands like Renault and Fiat.

Although the car brands from Europe, Korea, USA, and Japan are trying to catch up in the BEV race, they are still far behind in terms of volumes, efficiency and technology.
