An interesting shift so far and still at least 6 hours to go !!!

Please do not drive unless absolutely essential, we are receiving multiple reports of stranded drivers and RTC’s. Help us to help you, driving conditions are difficult for us to reach certain areas.

On route to a job (I am passenger) roads are treacherous, travel only if essential !! Seeing too many people attempting unnecessary journeys

Feeling disappointed and confused. I spoke to a friend in social care who is working from home and has had the vaccine. Yet police officers on response who are in daily close contact with people in often physically challenging situations haven’t been prioritised 🤷‍♀️ why?

Tonight’s shift so far, I got punched in the face twice and kicked, my colleague I was with also got punched in the face and kicked! Backup was gratefully received. Paperwork complete re this assault, now back to it and responding to jobs, hopefully no more violence towards us🤞🏻

This was my breakfast at 7:15 this morning, it gave me the energy needed for a busy day. Arrests made, statements taken, victims supported and missing people located, back tomorrow for whatever is sent our way #band2

Car stopped early this morning due to a light out - do you know you have a light out, driver “yes”🤦‍♀️ your vehicle is also showing no insurance, do you have any insurance? Driver, “no”! Vehicle seized and driver reported. ⚠️ Keep vehicles roadworthy and insured or risk 🚔 seizure!

Just home from our last night shift, rest days now and back on Monday. Last night band 2 caught 3 burglars 😊 excellent team work including our 4 legged friend 🐶
