The reason the Winter Fuel Allowance is being scrapped is entirely because the Conservatives funnelled money to their mates, managed the country’s finances poorly and failed to collect tax from billionaires. Don’t let them turn us against each other. Punch up, not down.

At one point several years ago I was considering a writing job at WWE. I asked around and was told by multiple people I trust how bad the culture was. I understand things have now radically changed. I’m glad people are feeling empowered to speak up about the past.

Gonna keep my comments to myself on that "WWE ID" stuff. There's always a catch to these kinds of workings with the WWE, gotta know what the caveats are just like when they were buying the indies pre pandemic.

Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. WWE did this in the UK. Came in, gobbled up as many indies as they could, tried to decimate the indie scene, then left. WWE does NOT care about independent wrestling. WWE cares about WWE. This is not altruistic.

PWInsider: A few independent promoters are already worried the WWE ID program could be the American equivalent of WWE signing all the British talents ahead of the launch of NXT UK a few years back, where talents will have issues doing jobs or even end up pulled from dates at

There is already a problem with some indie companies, especially the ones connected to schools that get talent cheap, throwing weight around to prevent talent from working elsewhere. If WWE is going to brand indies, they need to make sure that branding isn't thrown in similar

To those saying comments like "oh good more money for those who contribute nothing" - check ur facts! 40% of UC claimants are the working poor others are carers, have disabilities or illness, & some who don't have work, want it. A little more compassion & less judgement

This week's #EastEnders episodes were written by Lisa Gifford , Mark Stevenson and Daran Little , and directed by the marvellous Vito Bruno. I spliced the best bits together with a powerful computer and electric Sellotape.

I wrote this one. Who can Cindy trust? Sonia's trial continues. Martin is pulled in all directions and can Reiss keep it together? #EastEnders
