Did you know that praying mantises molt? To grow they need to shed their exoskeleton. One of ours successfully molted overnight. See the mantis at the top of the container, and the shed skin on the side? So much to learn. 😀 Come check them out in the library. Orchard Park

We candled our eggs for the first time today. 9/10 eggs are alive and developing. This is a video of one of the more active chick embryos moving inside the egg. Orchard Park
