Tomorrow we are hosting an event for MPs with our friends from letuslearntoo and a group of young people. If you haven't done so already, this is your last chance to invite your MP: …t.disabledchildrenspartnership.org.uk/en-gb/invite-y…

I was glad to meet today with these incredible young people who were in Parliament with Disabled Children's Partnership & letuslearntoo to speak with MPs about their experience of the SEND system and the changes that are urgently needed #SENDcrisis #SEND

Thank you to the many MPs and ministers who came to meet young disabled and neurodivergent children and siblings and parents today. Their stories must be at the heart of any reform. Disabled Children's Partnership letuslearntoo

Wow! We’re overwhelmed by the response to our drop-in event with letuslearntoo. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to write to their MP – more than 60 constituencies were represented. The Fight For Ordinary starts now.

“The Government hasn’t been engaging with us, now I want to make sure the young person’s voice keeps being heard because it’s our future.”👏 Proud to have supported this Disabled Children's Partnership event, hearing from young people with Education, Health and Care Plans. mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/m…

It was great to attend the launch of #FightForOrdinary hosted by Disabled Children's Partnership and letuslearntoo this week. I welcomed the chance to talk to children and families about educational support and look forward to seeing the needed long-term, fundamental reform of the SEND system.

Parents at Disabled Children's Partnership & letuslearntoo event tell me EHCPs are a nightmare to navigate & fight for – but often only way to get children with SEND the support they need. V encouraging that getting better outcomes is likely to underpin the govt's new SEND strategy this autumn.

The Department for Education needs to issue an apology to all those parents in the areas affected 👇🏻. At the time these were created we all told them of the consequences but they refused to do anything and continued with the awful scheme

All existing SEND provision will be protected when we reform the system, Department for Education had told anxious parents. Only now.. it might not be - the provision must be 'effective' & who knows what that means? Important The i Paper Connie Dimsdale exclusive inews.co.uk/news/send-pare…

Education, Health and Care Plans aren't perfect, but families across the UK rely on them to get support for their children. Jane Harris and Disabled Children's Partnership explain why SEND reform is desperately needed, and how it can be done right👇 metro.co.uk/2025/08/01/sch…
