독립출판의 단점이라면 단점.. 출판이라는 과정을 납작해보이게 만든다.. 실제로 납작한 과정으로 만들어내는 사람들도 있고, 개인이 몇 개 찍어 몇 개 팔고 돈 안벌어도 그만이면 모르지만, 자본이 투입되고 어느정도의 성과를 기대하는 출판물이라면, 책임을 지는 누군가가 필요하다.

그리고 그 누군가가 할 일은 모든 과정을 차근히 잘 밟아 문제가 없는 결과물을 만드는 것인데, 그 과정에서 교정교열 전문가와 감수자 등이 꼭 필요하다.. 나중에 문제가 생기더라도 어디서 문제가 있었는지 분별할 수 있다.

과정이 납작해지면, 이게 안보인다.. 그래서 교정교열도 어쩌다보니 디자이너가 하고있고.. 오타수정도 해야한다.. 기한이 너무 촉박해서 본다고 봤지만 오타나 비문이 남아있으면.. 혹은 도판이 잘못 들어가 있다거나..? 그것은 누구의 책임인가..? 보통은 디자이너에게 넘어가는데 어떤 경우에는

경제적 손해까지 감수해야한다... 이런 납작한 과정으로 일을 하는 경우에.. 페이가 얼마나 되겠는가..??? 이런 사항들이 적용된 계약서 초안을 만들어야겠다... ㅠㅜ
