It was so lovely for us to visit St George's today for our Harvest Festival. It's nearly three years since we've been together as a community at the church and it was wonderful to celebrate Harvest altogether! 🍁🌽🍍🎉

What a beautiful morning to enjoy our fantastic nature area! We started our Forest School session with pond dipping and foraging.

Goldfinches had a fantastic afternoon playing 'Quidditch' in PE! They had to use communication, running, throwing and catching skills to win their team points. #inspiring #wellrounded

Goldfinches ran the obstacle course in groups today for the Improve.it 'Friendship run'! They helped and encouraged each other to complete the course in record time. Well done to all! #determination #teamwork #Wellbeing

Well done to our Y6s for a fantastic performance yesterday. They told us all about Boudicca and the circulatory system before sharing their art and singing beautifully. Such a great buzz in the classrooms afterwards as they shared their learning with parents and carers!

Swifts Y6 loved the stained glass museum Ely Cathedral today. They explored portraits and how art can be used to express identity. They took inspiration from the glass to begin their own portraits. Lots of links to our history and religion and world views curriculum too!

This was a perfect example of a workshop that aligned beautifully with our curriculum - supporting our Paula Briggs @AccessArt unit and giving our pupils the opportunity to 'show off' their Opening Worlds knowledge in history and R@WV Christine Counsell

Our year 4s have been working hard on illustrating the poem The Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll as part of their art lessons last half term! They are rightly proud of their books and their use of pen and colour! We love their bold illustrations #inspiredby Paula Briggs @AccessArt

Safely back on the bus after the Young Voices concert! What an amazing night! Our children were incredible and we are definitely PROUD!

Due to road closures, we are expecting to be back at school around 12.30am. To help get children off the bus quickly, please do not park in the lay-by so the bus can use it. We will call year groups at a time as the children get off starting with Year 4. See you all soon!

We're always really excited about being part of this exhibition. It's always such a wonderful celebration of art across all the schools in the area! We're excited to debut some of our Paula Briggs @AccessArt outcomes and we think we can spy some of the walls already! Artsmark

We had a fantastic day celebrating books and reading for World Book Day!  We also decorated our doors to celebrate our favourite books. As a special treat, we have bought a special WBD book for every child in school to take home and keep.
