The lab celebrated 1y this past week. Miles to go and a lot of fun science to do! 🧫🧪🧬 TTUEngineering

This week the lab travels to Biomedical Engineering Society Annual Meeting in Baltimore, MD. We have 2 poster presentations by grad. student, Asma and Honors College undergrad, Isabella. Dr. Srivastava will be co-chairing a session on AI/ML-guided Biomaterials Design + Synthesis. #BMES2024 🧫🧪🐷

Fun experience to be the session chair for the ‘AI/ML-guided Biomaterials Design & Synthesis’ session at #BMES2024. Biomedical Engineering Society 🤖⚙️⚗️🧫

Fantastic poster presentation by The Srivastava Lab @ Texas Tech undergrad, Isabella. Thank you for everyone who stopped by, including Dr. Girgis Obaid from Bioengineering_UTDallas 🙌🏻 TTUEngineering Biomedical Engineering Society #BMES2024

Yearly dinner outing of Poon Lab @ UTEP & The Srivastava Lab @ Texas Tech at Biomedical Engineering Society national meetings continues to it’s Y2, this time at Fogo de Chão Brasil 🥩🥙 #BMES2024

Can we make Acoustic Proteins with different "colors" the way the developers of GFP made BFP, YFP, etc?🌈 Yes, via #directedevolution of #gasvesicles! Congrats to Nivin N. Nyström et al on the first GVs multiplexed based on nonlinear response to ultrasound. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Excited to share that my lab (The Srivastava Lab @ Texas Tech) is awarded the American Heart Association (American Heart Association) AIREA grant to develop platelet-like afterglow imaging agents for precise and early detection of atherosclerosis plaques. Made sure that all major lab equipments and our biological + clinical samples are safe (were connected to back up power as we are cautious). Thanks to Texas Tech University and COE admins, staff for making the arrangements continue while the normalcy is restored! This was (is) a very wild

Big congrats to my academic bro Wilson Poon and Poon Lab @ UTEP to have this beautiful work out now in Nano Letters 🙌🏻🧫🧪👨🏻🔬

Happy to share my lab (The Srivastava Lab @ Texas Tech) has published its second research article, now in ACS Nano. Annmarie Farag and Isabella Vasquez’s research into antidepressants and nanotechnology, respectively, helped distinguish them from a crowded applicant pool. Honors College | TTUResearch

Through combining lipids, enzymes and other substances found in tumors, Indrajit Srivastava believes he has developed an effective way to test fluorescence-guided surgery. TTUEngineering | TTUResearch #OneHealth
