Our New Minibus - Part 2 PSA (Friends of Oakwood) raised £17,275, with the remaining funds sponsored by Daz’s Rock 4 Charity and The Rowlands Trust.

Our New Minibus - Part 3 Contributions came from businesses like MV Kelly, Palletways, RSK Transport, NA Cars, Morgan’s Café, and Midland Block & JJ, alongside generous personal donations from parents and families.

Our New Minibus - Part 4 - Thank you! Additional funds were raised through events such as sponsored swims, mountain climbs (Ben Nevis & Snowdon), DofE activities, a Summer Fayre, Wheel-a-thon, raffles, and a final donation from Lorraine Thompson, Head of Virtual School.

So proud of the team today! Always a risk to try something different but it worked and that is thanks to the team! Well done everyone! One more day!

Well that’s my first term as acting head of school completed. To say it’s been a steep learning curve is an understatement! Not sure how much my NPQH prepared me for the actual day to day! So privileged to have a fantastic team. Time to rest and recharge!

Where it all began! What a crazy 5 years it has been. 86 pupils to 266 (in September).

Along with the additional wall wrapping, we have also added sensory elements to the walls in our new primary zone.

What an awesome day! I don’t think I have enough adjectives to describe today, going to start with emotional! From the opening performance of dancers from our 12 schools to hearing from all the trust executives, headteachers of all 12 schools and watching our school videos.

My first ever classroom, well IT room! Turned back into a classroom 13 years ago and now going to be our soft pay room!

My first classroom! I would do things so differently now. No visual clutter around the board, neutral colours for boards (why I thought orange was a good idea I’ll never know!) along with structuring my lessons differently.

Finally got my result through! Passed my NPQH!

We love our staircases! We have themed each set differently to aid with navigation around our complicated site.
