Great to meet with the Scouts in Parliament! 🙌 In South Norfolk, we have 905 incredible young people in Scouts & an amazing 234 dedicated volunteers. Such a fantastic organisation building skills, confidence, and community spirit. Proud to support the Scouts! 🏕️

Last Tuesday, our Scouts were in Parliament presenting the Scouts' manifesto to over 45 decision-makers. We discussed ways they can support our young people and volunteers across the country, and even gave them their own Scout Changemaker badges!

Our youth advocates and volunteers have been at Labour Party Conference meeting new ministers and MPs, sharing Our Scouts' Manifesto and the work we're doing with HSBC UK on money skills. Advocate Ayisha even got the chance to interview DCMS Secretary Lisa Nandy MP #SkillsForLife

At #LabourConference2024 it was great to see so many charities, voluntary and civil society groups. I was pleased to meet some of them to hear about the valuable work they do in Barnsley South and across the country.

Finished off an action packed week at Labour conference at the Charity Times awards. We didn’t win but I’m so proud our tiny team made it on to the shortlist for campaigning team of the year. Thank you Molly Taylor and all the amazing young people and volunteers we work with ⚜️
