RSA government’s commitment to building a nation inclusive of Disability Rights is in the heart of the United Nations principle of “Leaving No 1 Behind”. It is our priority to reach those that are often excluded, including migrants & refugees with disabilities. #IDPD #DisabilityInclusiveSA

Effective National Disability Planning and Delivery requires quality data. Irish Embassy Pretoria and IOM are conducting research to provide evidence on the status of migration and disability in SA to better advocate for inclusion in policy and programs. #IDPD #DisabilityInclusiveSA

We're delighted to support IOM South Africa on this project. It is our hope that the gathering of evidence will inform policy on the needs of migrants with disabilities & ensure that the principles enshrined in the #UNCRPD are upheld. #IDPD2019 #LeaveNoOneBehind

The White Paper on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities provides a roadmap towards inclusive of Disability Rights. Irish Embassy Pretoria & IOM are conducting research to complement Govt. efforts in addressing data gaps in the area of migration & disability. bit.ly/34rlZFZ
