DFRS Youth Team Fire Cadets have now done all they can do, completed their complex scenario and now it’s in the lap of the UKRO gods. Thanks to 🚒UK Fire Cadets 🚒 for the opportunity given to our young people. They’ve done Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service proud nationally!

Join us for a free family fun day at Pavilion Gardens, Buxton, on Saturday 29 October. We're teaming up with Derbyshire Police, Mendip Cave Rescue, WNDLRAirAmb, RNLI & Regulated Industry (East Mids) for the event, where there will be live demonstrations, emergency service vehicles, and lots more.

Firefighters are currently dealing with a dangerous structure at a partially demolished church on #Simmondley Lane #Glossop ⚠️ Please avoid the area & find alternative routes as Simmondley Lane is expected to be closed well into the night. Derbyshire Police
Firefighters have now left the scene and the incident has been handed over to Derbyshire Police Simmondley Lane will remain closed over night. Safety cordons remain in place.
