Proud to be part of Labour Business marching for #PeoplesVote with Peter Kenyon and Edmund Will. Not too late for The Labour Party to give voters a chance to decide they don't want a Tory #BrexitChaos which destroys jobs, investment and prosperity for the many not the few.

Department for Transport says UK transport systems will be ‘overwhelmed’ by no deal Brexit - yet it is still government policy to prepare for it. I regard this as immoral & possibly illegal (abuse of public office) since HMG has it within its power to prevent a no deal Brexit

If confirmed, this represents a serious blow to the communities that depend on the jobs Nissan creates and supports. The Tories’ chaotic handling of the Brexit negotiations is having a devastating impact on business investment. It’s time ministers got a grip on this crisis.

The Home Secretary may not want to answer the question about what happens to our security if there is No Deal, but UK’s top police officers have clearly warned him & all of us that No Deal makes us less safe ... thread/1

This must be stopped. To suspend parliament at this crucial time is outrageous. MPs must take the earliest opportunity to take Johnson on and defeat him. theguardian.com/politics/2019/…

Delighted that our Bill to stop a damaging No Deal Brexit on 31 Oct has now been passed by the House of Lords, but very troubled by the Prime Minister’s repeated statements that will he not seek an extension under any circumstances. Either we have the rule of law or we do not.

It’s not just that she has resigned from the Cabinet. It’s not just that she has resigned the Conservative whip. It is the language @AmberRuddHR uses to attack Boris Johnson that makes her resignation so devastating.
