Today we're wrapping up a 5-day training on Vector Genomics MRC Unit The Gambia at LSHTM for early career researchers from across #WestAfrica. Funded by EDCTP, the training equipped participants w/ advanced genomics tools to tackle emerging threats to #malaria interventions & #PublicHealth.

This week, we kickstart a malaria microscopy external competence assessment for lab scientists in partnership with Amref Health Africa & funded by CEPI. The course aims to build capacity of national & regional experts to strengthen quality #malaria diagnostics in #Africa.
