On behalf of #Gambians , I  join Your Excellency, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, the Government, the Dionne family, & People of #Senegal to mourn the demise of Former Prime Minister Mahammed Boun Abdallah Dionne. May Allah grant his soul eternal peace.

I had an important interface with representatives of the Alliance of Victim-led Organisations.We discussed their expectations & the Transitional Justice Programme. I assured them of my unwavering commitment & the political will to the project because it will be part of my legacy.

On behalf of Gambians, I extend my congratulations to H.E. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, the Government and People of the Republic of Senegal, on the joyous occasion of their 64th Independence Day anniversary celebration.

It was a moment of pride to witness the inauguration of Bassirou Diomaye Faye. Strong institutions in a democracy made it possible to uphold the decisions of the Senegalese people. I look forward to maintaining peace and strengthening our bilateral ties. We are one and the same people.

President Barrow arrived in Dakar for the inauguration of President-elect Bassirou Diomaye Faye. He was received by Senegalese Prime Minister Sidike Kaba at Yoff Airport. His attendance signifies the strong relationship between The Gambia and Senegal.

I congratulate Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye for a victorious election & commend the People of the Rep. of #Senegal for the peaceful conduct of the election. I am optimistic that the cordial relationship between The #Gambia and Senegal will be further strengthened <President-Elect.

After years of hard work, we have finally inaugurated Lot 1 University of The Gambia of Faraba Banta Campus.
 
This will provide the faculty and students of our national pride a permanent campus; a campus where they can focus on educational pursuits without worries about classrooms.

My gratitude goes to Mr Sulayman Cham of NIRO Company Ltd for investing in a beautifully designed Ground Handling Services Complex. With >200 employees, it adds to the economic growth & sets a precedence in #Africanaviationindustry .

It was a historic event to launch a book about my childhood. My wish is to inspire children to dream big.  Though it's a children's book,'The Village Boy Who Would Be President,' would also interest those curious about my humble beginning. I am grateful to FyeN Publishers.

Today, I received a delegation from the African Conference for Promoting Peace in my Office. I am pleased and honoured to be announced #Winner of the #African Prize for #Peace #Award 2024.

I am saddened to hear the news of the passing of Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, the Emir of the State of #Kuwait . It is a great loss for the people of Kuwait and the world at large. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on behalf of all Gambians.
