Invitations to #mindfulness sometimes seem to offer nothing more than a bizarre practice of draining meaning out of the present moment in the service of a dissociative state of calm. I wrote a #poem called ‘Crackling Mindfulness.’ So grateful to NorthernGravy for publishing it.

I knew when I joined Manchester Cathedral that the music was exceptional. I couldn't begin to imagine how much of a spiritual gift it is to have choral evensong 5 days a week This evening, the choir's rendition of Haydn's 'The heavens are telling' was absolutely incredible 🎶🎶

Last week I spent an afternoon Chester Zoo contributing to a short feature in the One Show about weddings. The weather was glorious, the wedding looked amazing and I got to chat to the fabulous Gyles Brandreth, who was just lovely and has brilliant taste in jumpers!
