After another very successful Waste to Wages run to Kununurra last week, I took the opportunity during a break in Wubin to thank my partners for their tremendous support. Together we are keeping unwanted furniture out of landfill while supporting local employment opportunities 👍🏻

$21m in Australian Government funding has been approved for 9 rest area projects from the Albanese Government’s Heavy Vehicle Rest Area Program to support our truckies. This is part of a $140m commitment over 10 years, supporting truckies to access the facilities they need

The first Same Job, Same Pay decision has just been made. The labour hire loophole's officially closed. This'll be the first of many such decisions that'll deliver extra pay to workers. Labour hire has a legitimate role but it should never be used to undercut agreed rates of pay.

Parliament is in recess for the Winter break and I couldn’t be happier to get back behind the wheel! Here’s an update from the road. Keep well and drive safe this weekend! Glenn 🚚

I along with the Australian Government understand the critical role truckies have in keeping our country moving. We want you to stay safe at work. That's why we’re investing in rest areas, to improve your workplace conditions & we want you to tell us where they are needed most

Always an opportunity to be lead astray when I run into this bloke. Seriously though, Senator Glenn Sterle has helped me open some doors and deliver some results for people. He is a true blue spokesperson for the transport industry.

This week I paid tribute to one of our nation's finest transport leaders, Ian Smith, who sadly passed away last month. Smithy dedicated his life to improving conditions and standards for transport workers and their families. Smithy, you will be dearly missed mate! Vale Smithy

Sick & tired that truckies continue to get fined hundreds of $ for spelling mistakes in logbooks. Today I have written to every Transport, Road Safety & Police Minister to ask them to enforce the law, make our roads safer but please, stop pinging truckies for spelling mistakes!
