Some great math conversations on where we should be placing selected numbers on different numbers line 0-1,000,000. A great way for students to represent whole numbers using appropriate tools and strategies! WSherwoodFox how’d we do?

Fraser St Amand’s class was buzzing with excitement today as we explored the importance of providing specific details when coding. We even got a chance to play with micro:bit and MakeCode. Looking forward to being back later this week ☺️. WSherwoodFox Jennifer Potts

Great perseverance from Fraser St Amand’s 6s today! We introduced variables and conditional statements to have students code a dice using MakeCode. After co-creating a flow chart students were able to think this problem through and debug as they went. tvdsbmath WSherwoodFox 🦊

Hard at work coding again today! The students did a great job of coding Rock Paper Scissors with a lot of perseverance and some collaboration WSherwoodFox Jennifer Potts Thank you for the great idea and help Rebecca Channer
