The Pelicot case is the most horrific rapes I’ve ever read but I can’t stop thinking about this part. For years, she went to doctors for answers about memory loss. She must have felt like she was losing her mind. And her husband sat right next to her, knowing he was drugging her.

Working with kids will really strengthen you for everything in life. Why this little girl felt a little hair on my chin and whispered in my ear “umm Miss Camille are you a daddy?”

My God. He’s not mourning her, he’s mourning the fact that the breadwinner of the family is gone. A useless + shameless father.

You guys are cool with changing your banker if they suck, your waiter if they suck, you may even suck at your own job but you encounter one therapist who sucks and the whole thing is a sham? Hmmmmm!

This story has disturbed me so much that I can’t imagine what restorative justice for Gisèle would look like. I just want those men to suffer. I want hell to be real and I want them to be punished eternally. I want the husband to never know a day of joy as long as he lives.

I finally summoned the courage to read this story. Unfathomably evil, grotesque. But what struck me was Gisèle saying, 'I couldn’t bear any man’s hands on me other than my husband’s.' To be so wholly in love with & true to someone, only for them to destroy you like this. Ghastly.
