Not quite the result we were after today, but our lads put a great shift in against one of the better teams in this league, we lost 4-0 to CPD Llanrhaeadr FC 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, reserves, but 4-0 was a bit harsh on the lads. Pleased with the effort from all our lads. On to the next one. #Upthelake

Last night seen us keep our first clean sheet of the season in a tough 0-0 draw at home to Waterloo Rovers FC reserves. A great effort from our lads. Back to it tomorrow with a home game vs Welshpool Town FC reserves. 2.30ko. #MAFL #Upthelake

Unlucky today as we lost 3-2 to Welshpool Town FC reserves. Goals from Bryn Roberts and Jamie Williams weren't quite enough. We worked hard in the last 20 trying to get a result with only 10 men for the last 15. On to Tuesday when we face Llanymynech FC in llan. #Upthelake #MAFL

We will be hosting a meeting tonight at The Last Grouse Lake Vyrnwy Hotel at 7.00pm to discuss the future of this club. We need a lot more help to get this club back home. Including more players. The meeting is open to anyone interested in helping anyway.

Unfortunately, I'm writing this to confirm that as a team we will be folding. We just weren't going to have enough players to commit to this coming season. I just want to thank everyone who was apart of it last season. Sorry we couldn't get football back up the Lake.

We are deeply saddened with the news yesterday about the passing of Bernie Jones. One of the biggest figures in Mid Wales football will be hugely missed. Our goalkeeper during our montgomeryshire league title in the 70s. Deepest condolences to Sue and family.
