The Cushendall Road outside Ballymena is currently closed due to a serious road traffic collision. The closure is in place from the junctions of Tully Road and Killyflugh Road and from Ballygarvey Road.

As a young man, a very respected and experienced friend once told me, “the most important thing that you can give to anyone is your time!” He’s sadly gone now, but I still love his voice in my head! Call into see someone, have a chat, tell a joke, get a cup of tea!

Big John came across as a genuine, honest and down to earth man. His pride in the achievements of his kids was immense, but he expressed it with humour and modesty. He’ll be missed on this platform. Wish there were more like him. Rest east big lad! Big J ✖️
