Remembered this morning the Coroner's officer who called me out of the blue to say she'd no longer be attending Abigail's inquest because she was pregnant & didn't want to upset me - "& actually it would be pretty hard for me too" 🤯

Not sure I'll ever get used to the way memories of what happened to us disappear & then resurface. & there are so many things like this from organisations we've dealt with - carelessness, people centring themselves in the death of our daughter, it all compounds the trauma.

In my experience anything put in an email to Care Quality Commission is neatly filed in the bin. I encourage anyone experiencing issues/problems with CQC to say as much as they feel able to *in public*.

They seem to prefer keeping things quiet, probably to protect their reputation as a safe and effective regulator. But the truth is, this silence hides the real problems happening right under their nose
