Welcome back Breakfast children have enjoyed a bit of just dance on their 1st day back

What a brilliant first week it’s been! We are so proud at how our children have settled into their new classes and routines. They’ve been a joy to have in school. A huge thank you to all our families for their support in making this week a success.❤️❤️

Absolutely brilliant to hear the professional dialogue this evening and map out curriculum adaptations linked to the Pupil Book Study matrixes. I love how passionate and reflective our staff are.❤️

Year 6 have had the best day at Crucial Crew. Their behaviour was perfect and contributed to discussions both confidently and clearly. Well done :)

Year 6s have been working outside the classroom on their history unit. We visited the Cenotaph and Museum to think think about the effects WW2 had on the local people :)

To celebrate European Language day in Fire Fighters Career club we looked at all the words in Spanish related to Fire Engines and Fire safety. We even watched Fireman Sam in Spanish. We had so much fun !

During our art lessons we have been studying Henri Rousseau. Today we have been working on some ideas for the background of our jungle themed art. Year 3 had a go at sketching different examples then chose their best 2 to add colour and texture. 🤩🖌️🍃

A brilliant afternoon for Y4 at Clifton Park! 🌿 We explored habitats, discovered living things and collected leaves for our next classification lesson. #FutureScientists 🔬

We have arrived at Crowden and already settled in. Beds made, unpacked and ready for our first activities .

Red group have been Canoeing this afternoon and loved every minute .

Our blue group have been orienteering and archery. Following instructions and having fun.

All the children have slept well and now enjoying a lovely breakfast ready for the day ahead .

Yellow group went crate stacking this afternoon and loved challenging themselves to higher heights. Great teamwork and proud moments 🥰

Red group went abseiling this afternoon and with teamwork and resilience they all reached their potential .

Blue loved canoeing this afternoon and loved having Mrs Middleton join them. Look out for a freezing Mr Blake !

Mr. Hussain and Mrs. Keyworth also enjoyed the Halloween disco.

Elephants - Year 6 presented their History Topic to Badgers this afternoon. We talked about our learning and recalled lots of facts. Badgers sat perfectly and had lots of questions. Looking forward to our next visit .
