I'm a GP. On several occasions mothers have been in tears because they can't afford formula for their baby. There's no support for this situation. I can prescribe certain formulas if I think the baby has a milk allergy. I inform the mum of this and then prescribe 'as a trial'.

Happy Birthday! OTD 1958 our Museum was officially opened. Eric Thomson the then Whitby Lifeboat Secretary had the foresight to save the Station's No 2 Lifeboat RNLB Robert & Ellen Robson from being disposed of by the RNLI. Today, this boat still forms the centre of our Museum.

It's Whitby Regatta Weekend, come and enjoy the events both on and off the water. These lovely pictures depict the Lifeboat Race at the 1906 Regatta when the Robin Hoods Bay Lifeboat won the race beating the Staithes and Upgang Lifeboats and the two Whitby Lifeboats.
