Right now my nightly routine is to eat dinner, have an edible, sit down and do my jigsaw puzzle until I say “I’m too high I can’t do this puzzle anymore” then I go upstairs and get into bed and stare at my cat until start crying because I love her so much

The truth is: this isn’t just “staying home and watching Netflix”. It’s abandonment wounds. It’s attachment issues. It’s relational conflict. It’s touch starvation. It’s existential dread. It’s overwhelm of grief. It’s lack of purpose. It’s crippling anxiety. It’s fear of death.

We all agree that March was six years long and April has lasted six minutes, right? Can we get some sort of explanation on that. Genuinely baffled by how elastic time is right now, but more by how we seem to be experiencing it in similar ways.

Is it so hard to understand that when we flatten the curve, the curve lasts longer? Big long lines going up get smushed, lines go longer. If things are going okay, if it feels like we’re overreacting, that means we’re doing it right and they need to STAY THAT WAY.

Good. We're flattening a curve. And when you flatten a steep line, it gets.... Long. If we want to keep the curve flat we have to get cozy with this for a while. It's easy to be angry: it's harder but better to be at peace.

Why wear masks? Taiwan officials explain: When healthy + infected people interact, No masks=high risk of transmission via respiratory droplets Healthy person wears mask, risk reduced 50-80% Infected person wears mask, risk reduced 80-90% BOTH wear masks, risk reduced 98-99%

Hey MSNBC CBS News ABC News start covering COVID deaths like you did 9/11. Park outside every hospital. Have them bring you a black envelope every time someone in the state dies and film it and say their name. That’ll be more productive than filming idiots protesting.

You are the decision makers - people see what you choose. Choose better. Make a statement that these lives are more important than these selfish protests.

I keep asking this. If the STRINGENT MEASURES aren't working you don't just reopen. You force masks. You provide them and insist on them for every frontline worker. You contact trace. You test.

For whoever needs to hear this after seeing the triggering Adele photo - you don't need to lose weight. You don't need to work off what you ate. You're beautiful and worthy of love, success, & goodness just as you are, right here & now. We love Adele, & you, at every size.

Every time a person walks by without a mask I feel like they are shouting FUCK YOU right in my face. Because they basically are. Don’t be an asshole. Wear a mask.
