To close out #DCSAAM, DCCESV co-hosted a Stewards of Children training with coalition member Safe Shores DC. Held at Pilgrim Baptist Church, the training focused on teaching adults in DC’s robust faith community how to recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.

TODAY: The DC Council will hold its second reading and final vote on the FY24 budget. We urge the Council of DC to vote in support of $10.5 million for victim services and sexual assault services.
We recently led a dynamic conversation with the young leaders of Mikva Challenge DC’s Elections in Action Fellows. We discussed civic engagement and supporting communities through politics, as well as #DrawingConnections to how those activities can be part of sexual violence prevention!
