She voted for an amendment to the “Reforming Intelligence and Securing America Act’’ (H.R. 7888) to prohibit warrantless searches of U.S. person communications in the FISA 702 database. It failed by a tied vote of 212-212.

Today, on the anniversary of the start of the Civil War, I introduced a bill to preserve 22 Civil War Defenses located in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
 
These defenses should be preserved as a national historic park to educate & inspire future generations.
