In Canada, there’s a growing conversation around menstrual health as a key social and political issue. While current efforts focus on enhancing product accessibility, there’s a recognition that broader systemic changes are essential for true menstrual equality (Alix et al., n.d)

The need to fight for menstrual equity is exemplified by the following story based on the first hand experience of Days for Girls volunteers (see images). Days for Girls sends menstrual health kits to such communities so that everyone who menstruates can do so with dignity.
