It is not enough to mandate electronic transmission. Any visible cancellations should nullify Forms EC8A. Any CTC that deviates from the Forms EC8A on IReV should be deemed fraudulent, and the issuer should be jailed.

This e-transmission of results has exposed one thing: Our government and governors deliberately chose not to develop this country because of election interests. Imagine using internet network as an excuse for why e-transmission of results can’t be achieved in this 21st

The Senate has just amended Electoral Act, updating Clause 60 to require that presiding officers send results electronically. If e-transmission fails, the manual result sheet (Form EC8A) will be used instead. For those who may not know: Manual transmission is APC’s backup plan.
