In recent years I’ve become completely fed up with the casual dark view of human nature as fundamentally selfish and need governments to behave. When you look into it deeper you see this pessimistic attitude is born of imperialism, capitalism, and elite panic.

I had the pleasure of talking with @TonyaMosley as she courageously followed her personal journey of healing and liberation onto unexpected roads. Can't wait for this new season DearTBT where she brings back what she learned and charts a new path. 🍄 Don't miss it.

In 1981, Funky 4 + 1 performed on SNL in one of the first nationally televised rap performances. MC Sha-Rock was pregnant at the time & the crew saw this as a threat to their success, revealing hip-hop’s long-standing double standards. 🎧 Louder Than A Riot: npr.org/2023/03/30/116…
