We can keep wondering why Trump is so consistently loyal to Putin or we can act on that truth instead of denying it or trying to decode it. He's never going to turn on him, as much as I'd love to be proved wrong. Europe must arm Ukraine to win or they are next.

The biggest failure of the past week wasn’t about Trump or Putin, it’s about Europe. Europe must decide what we’re willing to do to secure our continent. That starts with Ukraine. Until we do that and act accordingly, Putin and Trump will determine the direction of this war.

I can't stand this attitude of 'they didn't care about X cause so I don't care about them', or 'X opposed gun laws so he deserved to be shot'. That attitude will drag us into the mud. The point is that we must 'love my enemy', or the whole foundation of civil society crumbles.
