“Going around in circles and making no progress” seems to be a theme. Lots of talk at election time about what’s planned and then nada!

Switching just one trip a day from driving to cycling can help to reduce a person’s carbon footprint by 0.5 tonnes over the length of a year! 🤯 Can you make any changes to your daily routine to incorporate more cycling? 🚲

Avoid the Bank Holiday traffic this weekend by leaving the car at home & jumping on your bike or walking. Exploring almost anywhere by bike or on foot is wonderful way to experience it more fully. Great fun, great for you & better for your community and for the environment.

When we make our streets safe for children, we make them safe for almost everyone. With the start of the school year imminent, remember that school run traffic chaos is a choice that we can change if we want to. Building safe routes to school benefits all of us Lincolnshire County Council

FYI - We are working with residents in Easton and with Burghley to look at this and other routes between Stamford, Easton, Collyweston and Duddington. These things take time but watch this space. North Northamptonshire Council

It’s cold enough in #Stamford this morning to put you off leaving your house, let alone going for a cycle. But, if you are braving the weather on two wheels, we've got a few tips to keep you safe on the saddle. sustrans.org.uk/our-blog/get-a…

Enabling people to cycle everyday journeys can help save money, boost happiness and health. It's something we should be doing regardless of a cost of living crisis as it always makes good sense to help people travel healthier for less #BikeIsBest David Taylor Sustrans East

A few inaccuracies here…The land belongs to South Kesteven District Council SKDC not #Stamford Endowed Schools and it is school who are acquiring. Lincolnshire County Council and Stamford Town Council have no direct interest in the car park which is only rarely full. Our view - more bike parking pls Kelham Cooke
