Another impressive statistic from the 2023 #GreaterCambridge #WalkingAndCyclingIndex - even with 45% of residents already cycling at least once a week, there are 16% of residents who want to start cycling.

Whilst #GreaterCambridge leads the way with walking & cycling levels, the potential to change more behaviour is considerable.
28% of residents want to drive less, yet 44% of residents often use a car because no other transport options are available.

Today marks three years since Department for Transport's consultation on #PavementParking closed, and we're still waiting for a response.
Action is long overdue. It's time for a ban on pavement parking 👇

The team checked and security marked bikes for 37 people today in #Coventry ! Thanks for having us UHCW NHS Trust, it’s great to see so many staff cycling for work.
