More often than sometimes We seek validation from the unworthy Losing a lot to prove little Paying a high price for small change. Virtue is folly in the presence of ego; And that’s why men easily trade the pride of walking away from humiliation of proving their worth.

These are the privacy concerns with AI that needs to be resolved. There should be guardrails and content filters to prevent simple leaks like these. It just seems like companies want to ship as fast as possible without the inherent safety concerns of their users

Okay, it's mid-June and nearly half year. How have we fared so far? Oh, oh... +86% ytd.. smashing all the kinds of indexes you can think of. We making progress, Alhamdulilah. Meanwhile, no Nigerian equity mutual fund or asset class is beating this. 😉😉😉

Im going to tell you something. It is very possible you may be the only person in your entire company that ever just opens the Windows Security Log and looks around. I have found things you would not believe operations-wise. Especially raw unfiltered new process creation.

▪︎ The part where, as an investment person, you gotta learn how to say no (because you'd more likely say no than yes to the many deals that come your way). ▪︎ The part where he does not regret missing out on deals, even though those deals end up making a lot of money.

The market had become niche and had also moved elsewhere to airlines. I remembered them again this morning because I realized Nigerians don't know how much Buhari damaged Nigeria in eight years. So many thriving businesses were crippled, and it even affected us outside Nigeria.

One man's incompetence and ignorance was magnified so much that it will wreak havoc on livelihoods and families for generations. Even those who migrated are not free from the effects of his incompetence, and that is why we keep commenting on Nigerian matters. It still affects us.

If they like, let them steal 90% of the money, but they should please build things for people to use and things that can make life better. My only worry with this current government is its short-sightedness. Abundance lifts everyone, but scarcity eventually helps nobody.

I watched the video of the British guy who confessed to how the British put the flawed foundations of the Nigerian union in place, and it occurred to me that the wrong people are fighting each other. People who should cooperate are behaving like morons. youtube.com/watch?v=2gSbMe…

it's bizarre that being rude to chatgpt, claude etc somehow unlocks AI god mode “are you kidding me? this is AWFUL. make it way better or else”

$1 Billion out of $21 billion is 4.76% approximately 5%. If someone had told people doing diaspora remittances to put this into a fund to help provide jobs to people back home, I am sure it would have saved them more than 5% of future remittances. We never did that but the US
