🥇| The first award of the evening is Business of the Year sponsored by Rushcliffe Business Partnership and the winner is The Larder at #Aslockton! A wonderful local hub for the village, selling fantastic, fresh and locally sourced produce! #CRAs2023
In 2015 I got 29% of the vote in Cranmer Ward. In 2023 I got 59%. Rural voters won’t automatically switch to Labour but the right candidate with the right values and work ethic can win them over. That’s why I’m backing Jonathan Slater to win Newark for Labour at the general election.
I am excited to hear this news. This country needs change and Jonathan Slater would be a strong voice in Parliament
Great to attend my local primary school today as part of the Start Small Dream Big project funded by D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership
After a gruelling campaign, with expert teams putting their case for investment in businesses, homes, parks, roads, or the environment, a surprise landslide win for roads with 61% on the 3rd round of this STV poll. Nottinghamshire County Council’s pothole crisis a priority for even primary age kids!
Today we celebrate! After the weekend we work to change the East Midlands, and the country, for the better. 📸Hugh Casswell
Thank you to Newark Labour Party members for the warm welcome and all your support. I’m honoured to be your candidate. We’ve already proven we can win elections together and we’re ready for the big one. People in Newark want and deserve a fresh start with The Labour Party
A lovely trip to the beautiful village of Orston, with very active Borough Cllr Chris Grocock Parish councils are key to participatory democracy and I’m grateful to the volunteers who keep them going We enjoyed chatting with residents about issues affecting their community.
