A credit to the local community providing a fantastic service to Aslockton and the surrounding villages of Cranmer Ward and beyond!!!

In 2015 I got 29% of the vote in Cranmer Ward. In 2023 I got 59%. Rural voters won’t automatically switch to Labour but the right candidate with the right values and work ethic can win them over. That’s why I’m backing Jonathan Slater to win Newark for Labour at the general election.

I am excited to hear this news. This country needs change and Jonathan Slater would be a strong voice in Parliament

This certainly chimes with what farmers in my rural ward of Cranmer have been saying. The help they’ve received in the face of ballooning costs has been insufficient and inadequate. Rural constituencies across the East Midlands are definitely winnable for Labour 🌹

A great day chatting to residents in Tuxford yesterday, and a warm welcome from the patrons of The Fountain where we stopped for a fantastic lunch. General disgust at the continued corruption of Tory politicians and definitely no love for the Tories here.

Great teams out across the Newark constituency today, including in Wharton, Orston, Aslockton, Southwell and Newark town. We’re doing everything we can to ensure that Newark gets an MP with integrity, the MP you deserve.
