It's important for USA to get debt under control; but don't forget how we got here. GOP liberally spend on corp. favors & dems work to get it under control. GOP is hypocritical blaming this all on Biden. Dems are always caught in the wake of GOP foolishness in recent decades.

It's possible that if Kevin McCarthy doesn't raise the debt ceiling, the opposite of GOP wishes will occur. The penalty for failure here is increased interest on the debt. That could force more draconian taxes on the rich. Either way, it will hurt America.

Considering the amount of money involved, the poor and middle class will no longer be able to continue to support the rich and their desires to 'pay no taxes' and leave the burden on everyone else in America.

It is foolish for GOP to abandon support for Ukraine. Allowing Putin to win allows torture and rape of the Ukrainian people. Allowing Russia to steal entire regions of Ukraine is like if USA had a conflict with Russia, and saying okay give them Texas or Florida to appease them!
