Managed to hold a meeting on 'Teams' this morning for nearly all the OCs of our VGSs and AGSs. Huge thanks to all the Volunteers for keeping Aviation and Aerospace interest going in these difficult times. Big thanks as well to the IT teams who have made communication possible.

Busy weekend culminating in a briefing for Commandant RAF Air Cadets and the other members off the RAF Air Cadets Command Board on what we have been up to with Cadet Portal and BaderSupport SMS over the last couple of days 👍

The RAF Air Cadets Command Board is meeting every Monday at the moment and BaderSupport and the Cadet Portal Teams provide regular updates to RC North - ACO on how the platforms are being used on the ground to support CFAVs and cadets. RAF Gender #CadetForceResilience

Microsoft Teams The RAF Air Cadets had our face to face weekly parade nights postponed at the start of the lockdown so we've been using Teams to connect with our cadets & ensure we can remain 'on parade'. Our BaderSupport & Cadet Portal teams have worked tirelessly to make it happen 🙂

We’re up and running! 1903 has been delivering virtual sessions for the past few weeks. This week we had Alex, a Ryanair Captain, talk to cadets about how to become a commercial airline pilot. Great session, thanks to Alex for giving up his time

Today the Sqn OC’s and Wing Staff attended the online North Region Conference organised by our very own @OC_SWYorksWing and Gp Cpt Leeming. A series of presentations were made by various specialists on the latest developments in the Region! A fantastic and very informative day!
