No end in sight for large scale regeneration schemes coming forward in Birmingham. Never been a more interesting time to be a planner in the city. This one will be a bit special, opening up the River Rea.

Huge effort from the Turley team to get this to submission. A fantastic landscape-led scheme being brought forward by Dandara Living which will open up the River Rea to the city's residents for the first time in over 100 years.

With the Metro extension, Mercian Studios, and HS2, Digbeth is becoming a remarkable part of Brum ✅ So exciting to see plans for 3,000 flats, workspaces, and retail using the River Rea as a centrepiece with cycle lanes and public spaces 🏠🚲🌳

How to improve our rail services. More frequent, reliable services? Reduce costs for customers? Stop heavily subsidising private companies to operate them? Nah mate, let's stop pointless onboard announcements!
