"There's no guarantee that I'm going to have another start. From here on out, we're going to empty the tank and leave everything that we have out there." Max Fried on his mentality ahead of his first postseason with the Yankees:

This is a laugher now in Toronto, but it's hard not to focus in on that sixth inning for the #Yankees as the difference here. Yankees had the bases loaded with nobody out and Judge, Bellinger, Rice, Stanton due up. If the Yankees took the lead there, or at least tied it 2-2,

That was obviously a terrible pitching performance from the Yankees but that bases loaded situation with no outs changed the game. The middle of the order has to produce more than one run. They have to do damage there and they didn’t. They have to be way better tomorrow.

Max Fried in Toronto this year: Today in Game 2 of the ALDS: 3 IP, 7 ER, 8 H, 2 BB, 1 K, 1 HR July 1st: 6 IP, 4 ER, 3 H, 2 BB, 2 K, 2 HR July 23rd: 5 1/3 IP, 4 ER (6 R), 6 H, 3 BB, 3 K That's three of the seven outings Fried had all year with 4+ ER.

I don’t think they’re coming back but it’s a good sign that the Yankees are beating up Toronto’s bullpen. I know I’m in the minority here but I don’t think the series is over even if they’re down 2-0.

Judge has been super underwhelming throughout the playoffs his entire career there’s no question about it, but what a stupid comment by Ken Rosenthal. Aaron Judge has the most HRs in win or go home games since his debut, he hit a game tying HR off one of the best closer seasons
