I thought Iโ€™d revisit the idea of scrub on farmland but this time from a โ€˜why itโ€™s good for your #farmโ€™ point of view rather than the โ€˜why nature loves itโ€™ point which you see more often So #scrubโ€ฆ short bushy plants that birds love Often a dense thorny mix of shortish plants๐Ÿ”ฝ

3rd year in a row now the bi-crop has suppressed weeds effectively over mono-crop, even in a year when peas have had a huge canopy. Barley also holding up the peas for easy combining. Definitely the way forward, if weโ€™re continuing to grow #organic legumes Hodmedod's
