Virgin Orbit's demise will come as no surprise to anyone paying attention. Small launch is a brutal business. They had no ability to scale to a larger rocket. This still SUCKS for some great people who worked very hard to solve myriad technical challenges and fly LauncherOne.

As far as I can tell, you have to manually examine multiple bits of data to see if BlackLotus is installed. And if it is, you have to wipe the entire drive — including boot sector.

Just for context because non space people seem confused: It of course would have been better if the rocket had not exploded but it’s not actually a big deal that it exploded.
