“This achievement is also a gift to every girl
I have to break it down for bigots who belong to this category of opinions . Let me list the problems one by one. And a little explanation.
while it looks like a lil bit of “professional concern” It is loaded with ableism, tone policing, Victim blaming & more. A breakdown:
“Who would hire her in future if her drama is louder than her work?”
This frames someone speaking publicly as a liability. That’s not concern that’s silencing. It shifts blame from the industry that harms people to the person harmed.
Basically we have an abuse supporter here
Calling it “drama” instantly devalues what may be serious mental health issues, workplace abuse, or trauma. It’s a dog whistle for “she’s too difficult,” a phrase often weaponized against women, survivors, & outspoken actors.
So to you anyone who speaks about their abuse = drama
“I support her actions but as a director I wouldn’t hire someone… having emotional issues…”
This is pure ableism.
Mental health ≠ professional incompetence.
So many people in creative industries manage anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc., and still do brilliant work.
“There are better actresses who are all ok.”
Blegh🤮 . This is coded language. “Better” = less “messy”? More silent? Less public with pain? Let’s be honest: this isn’t about talent it’s about wanting someone who will suffer what you dish to them with complete obedience.
There is tone policing: “Be hurt, but quietly.” That’s not support it’s your conditional empathy for her.
Your support only lasts if she stays silent and agreeable. That’s not support, that is caring only when it’s convenient for you.
So don't say you support her you don't!
“I wouldn’t hire someone with emotional issues” -it upholds a system that rewards silence and punishes survival.
What we should be really saying is:
>Actors are human beings.
>Mental health deserves protection, not punishment.
>Stop sidelining people for reacting to harm.
zhao lusi started tearing up while watching the concert performance 🥺🥺
"it really wasn't easy for her... she talked about how difficult it was growing up so I feel really happy for her. really, she (the performer) hasn't had it easy 👍🏻👍🏻"
"Shall we change the Platform for our Livestream tomorrow? I just want to take a look at the Platform where people are always scolding me (Weibo 🤬)
Should I not?"
