TICK OR TREAT?? Well if you join us you can have both!! parkrun UK supporters iPRO Hydrate are joining us and everyone walking, jogging or running our course as well as our awesome volunteers will be rewarded with an awesome drink at the finish!

Just noticed that parkrun UK and junior parkrun UK have recorded 1,018,496 instances of volunteering in 2022 so far, the first time over one-million, and beating their previous calendar-year record of 974,990 (set in 2019). Well done everyone 👏 #loveparkrun

Today marks 19 years of Saturday morning walks and runs 🎉🎈 Paul Sinton-Hewitt, the founder of parkrun, describes the early stages of parkrun with only 13 runners, before it became the global success that it is today! Proving we must all walk before we can run 🏃

Next Saturday - October 14th - our parkrun will be partnering with foodcycle - they will be coming down to collect any of the suggested food items you can donate! Hope you’ll get behind this and show what an awesome community we have here down at Brierley! 🧡

🌞 It's looking like the weather will be perfect on Saturday for our birthday bash for Brierley Forest Park! 😎 We have free face painting, arts and crafts, a nature trail, wild crafts from 11.30am - 1.30pm The Brierley Cafe will have plenty of treats & cold drinks 🎂🦋

I ❤️ Brierley Forest parkrun. It's a proper hub of the local community, everyone knows each other, it's so warm and friendly. I gave it my best, my sister smashed it, my Mum walked, and her friends just had a chat on the way round. Now everyone is in the cafe. Perfect 🤌🏻
